Need Some Balanced Media Reporting Standards

This is probably the "balanced reporting" which you will never get from mainstream media.

Please note that not all Jewish people support what Israel is doing. In fact, there are many Jewish American folks protesting against Israel. Please click to read:
The following speech Was delivered by Anti Zionist Orthodox Jews at the “Emergency Protest to Stop the Massacre in Gaza” rally, Rockefeller Center, New York City, December 27, 2008, 2.00 PM and again at a Protest in London on December 28, 2008

May our words be pleasing to the Creator and cause His Great Name to be sanctified.

Assalaam Aleikhum:

The world stands aghast as the atrocities being committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza, becomes known in ever greater and shocking detail.

Mere words are insufficient to express the pain that all mankind feels at the plight of the Gaza and Palestinian people.

For over one hundred years, they have been subject to a carefully conceived plan, to drive them from their homes and their land.

Throughout their history, the Zionists have resorted to intimidation, war, ethnic cleansing and state—sponsored terrorism to achieve their goals.

This is, has been and continues to be, the criminal agenda of the Zionist movement. But among this movement’s greatest crimes, is that it has claimed to carry out these nefarious actions in the name of holiness, in the name of the Almighty, in the name of Judaism and the Jewish people !!

This is a wicked and monstrous lie !!

It is a desecration of our religion !!

Judaism forbids and rejects Zionism and the existence of the State of “Israel”. We have been expressly commanded by the Almighty that we are forbidden to have our own sovereignty in this heavenly decreed exile, we are also forbidden to rebel against any nation. Torah believing Jews, under the leadership of the most esteemed rabbis of the 20th century have always opposed and fought against Zionism and ultimately the State of “Israel”. Dude, what are you talking about. ALL the stories you see in the Malaysian mainstream media are against Israel, and extremely pro-palestinian.

ALL the bloody photos you see are from Hamas sources inside Gaza. (there are no foreign journalists in Gaza).

All the photos i see are of Muslim Palestinians. Where are the photos of Christian Palestinians inside Gaza (there are a few thousand of them in Gaza).

All the photos fault Israel for the lack of humanitarian aid, when Egypt is responsible for the Rafah Crossing.

What exactly do you mean by balanced?

ben,

i totally agree with you... i am also dying to find pro-israel articles... the one that i am quoting in this article is that jewish ppl do not all think alike... just like islamic ppl do not all think alike... mainstream media has played up its a crime against islam solely, which is not true... by balanced, i mean more realistic views on all sides of the coin... yes, there r plenty of christians in palestine n that has also escaped msm... my quoting the anti zionists jewish community is one additional facet... im not saying its the full story..

u dont have to be either for or against one side or another ... but to get a rounded perspective... msm tend to portray muslims as acting as one, and also the jewish acting as one, its not the case... hope u understand... i am still looking for pro israel articles...

If both sides cannot come to a solution before end times then we should treat them like kids ie If they not gonna learn to share, both will not get to stay on the land. Banish both Palestinians & Israelis to .....EUROPE! LOL!! That should bring out the anti Arab & anti Semitic side of Europeans out to the surface :)

Most people would reject this article because it comes from the Christian Science Monitor. I do not subscribe to it frequently, but this article is a good view from the other side.

http://www.csmonitor.com/2009/0109/p09s01-coop.html

I like what it says here:

"Would the international community truly prefer a proportionate or equal response? If Hamas launches three crudely-fashioned rockets into Israel, should the Israeli government respond with three equally-crude rockets? If three Israeli Defense Forces are kidnapped by Hezbollah, should the IDF respond by kidnapping an equal number of Hezbollah foot-soldiers?"

The notion of "proportional" response lacks both merit and logical support for several reasons. In war, there are winners and losers, and the only palatable means of victory come from a disproportionate use of force. Victors are inherently more skilled in combat, tactics, and in the effective deployment of (generally superior) technology."

truly, truly, the criticisms against Israel are more disproportionate than the war itself.

To the critics i say, suggest a way how Israel can remove the Hamas threat without intruding on the lives of regular Palestinians, and the "violence" will end.

Yes, I agree that our news are pro-Palestine and news of Israelies who gets killed does not sell, but if Israelies attack Gaza Palestines, that's hot news, hot demonstrations.

And the latest news of our Uneducated minister Hishamuddin organising school children to protest Israel's war on Palestine is crazy.

Just get Najis/AAB to send his PA, his military to fight in Palestine, after all we have lots of C4 and expensive new weapons.

And the Education Minister was suppose to ban politics in universities???

Now he is sending children below 18yo to fight his war, while he sits in his comfy mansion??? A war that we have no idea who the real enemy is, and who is on the defense.

Our education is trully broken.
