Jane Zhang Liang Ying
Remember her name. She has the best voice I have heard in an Asian girl for a very very long time. She sings in Mandarin, impeccable English, Spanish and Cantonese as well. I think she has two albums out so far. Check out her performances and be blown away. In fact, when she performed Teresa Teng's songs at Teresa's memorial concert, it was mesmerising as well. Her range is quite unbelievable. Her vocal ability ranges from the D below middle C to the G above soprano C that was demonstrated in her rendition of Minnie Ripperton's Loving You. She rose to prominence after her third-place performance in the 2005 season of the Super Girl contest, a national all-female singing competition in the People's Republic of China. Although the majority of the viewers thought that she had won - but she was vindicated as her singing career has been a lot more successful.

I do agree. Jane Zhang is such a pretty lass with good voice. If only she can sing more chinese songs...or even better if she can have an album in cantonese. I'm a cantonese person. Nevertheless, my perception of Jane pulling the mic away from herself while singning a high note gives an impression of she was unable to control her voice. I've noticed some professionals e.g. Jacky Cheung, Hacken Lee, etc, they can really control their voices and do not need to pull the mic away. Another particular example is Jacklyn Victor. Jacklyn is also one that so used to pull mic away when singing high note. Perhaps there are still room for improvement. Keep it up, Jane.
U check tis out larrhh..!
