Best 2-in-1 Coffee Packages
This is a long weekend, tons of cars going back to kampungs. Promised to buy the best 2-in-1 Kopi mix bag sachets from Ipoh for my partner and a good friend. You know, people from Ipoh probably never drink Old Town packages, even though its the most popular. It is very popular, here's why, a few of my friends working in Beijing and Shanghai, have to lug tens of packages of these 3-in-1 Old Town packages owing to incessant demand by the China friends.
That said, I was discussing the good 3-in-1 and good 2-in-one packages. I think genuine coffee drinkers would stay away from the 3-in-1 as the milk part is questionable. So, more often than not the best Kopi-O mixture seems to be made by Aik Cheong, which I usually buy as well if I cannot get my supply from Ipoh.
Now that I am at my hometown, will have to stock up a few of my favourite. Surprisingly, I have made the rounds in most supermarts in KL and still cannot locate them. The brand is called First Class Aroma. Its aromatic, thick and has a bit more body than the usual run of the mill. Though they also have the 3-in-1, stick to the Kopi-O version. Try it if you can get it.

jeeralang,
u can get them at those shops that sell all kinds of tidbits ... heong peang, sotong, kaya puffs ... there are a couple of big shops around Lou Wong taugeth chicken and next to the Funny Mountain taufoofar
wonder if this is available in east malaysia?
Just curious. It's supposed to be Kopi-O, but the label also states white coffee
justin,
yea the photo kinda covered the last word... White Coffee Taste
Another worldclass local coffee is sold by an old lady at a stall in the open-air Kepong wet market. As you enter the side road to the market from the main road, ignore the first entrance into the market but go to the one further down whereupon turn to the first right row and walk ten steps. Her stall sells only coffee and the stall is in front of some medicine shop.
Funny mountain taufoofar is good but small bowl. Still prefer "old friend" Ipoh garden east, after the bridge in van.
Please don't miss the best poh piah in Ipoh. Across a lorong of st Mary church.
really appreciate that you share the good coffee available. From a coffee lover to another, if you happen to drop by Penang, there is one stall as you enter Campbell St. on the left. I could say that they serve the best Kopi-o in Malaysia, to be exaggerating.
Dali - you can get this from Pasaraya Megaherbs, beside the Taman Megah market in PJ.
