It is really getting frothy...

Unexpectedly, the banks are not running.sopskysalathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18397095388809196477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18183714.post-8701760180221204072007-10-25T20:03:00.000+08:002007-10-25T20:03:00.000+08:00I think the reasonable and "systematic" weakening ...I think the reasonable and "systematic" weakening of USD is good for the US economy.

So long that the economy did not deteriorate further, especially the housing market, I think ASia market still have 5-10% upside. Take out geopolitical situation as well.

For HK market, I think another the most 10% upside for the year. My top pick is HK property stock. Look at the last most expensive transacted property in HK, a whammy USD6million for condo. It make me to think that CheungKong-c1, maybe of choice.

Nonetheless, HK call warrant should take a breather before the market hit pass 30000 pts and stay for consecutive few days.

Hence, it is not my appetite now. I prefer local play for snap election.

If you have faith in my comment last week, you must earn some quick bucks on PN17. Maybe, some corporate news counters like PMI and Nicorp is worth to be analysed. This is good for the market volume.

What say u?solomonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15373632232861592746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18183714.post-74067648720818937012007-10-25T14:59:00.000+08:002007-10-25T14:59:00.000+08:00sops,thats true, but it also makes M&A activity ch...sops,

thats true, but it also makes M&A activity cheaper for foreign buyers... plsu US companies now have a substantial amount of revenue coming from overseas, so thats translation gains to rev as well... when its just a weak outlook for currency, then you are right in that there would be initial wave of selling ... the US markets would certainly have fallen further without the weaker USD.SalvadorDalihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06868577716920232901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18183714.post-31231168435197996162007-10-25T14:26:00.000+08:002007-10-25T14:26:00.000+08:00hi dali, generally, investor avoid exposure to coun...hi dali,

generally, investor avoid exposure to countries where there is continuing weakening of their currencies? just curious. tkssopskysalathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18397095388809196477noreply@blogger.com
