Spring Cleaning On Stocks

Every now and then, we need to do spring cleaning on the stocks on our radar or portfolio. I shall not comment on those we will keep, but I will mention those I "no longer like". I will not be elaborating much on why these stocks are part of the "untouchables" for fear of getting myself into hot and sticky situations:

a) Transmile - good run from 36 sen up to 52 sen, but the vultures are out, creditors seem to have lost patience, get out

b) Etitech - There appears to have been some change in ownership and there appears to a huge stack of stale stock to be sold, get out

c) Measat - Too much too fast too soon

d) TA Global - A dog in sheep's clothing

I particularly like your terse comment on TA Global, applicable to the principal shareholder as well.

kelington is ok, did well since i put it up but 76 sen and no volume makes for a sad boy... move out into smthg more liquid

the free float is high on evergreen but interest will be there as every quarter's results is likely to be good this year ... at every significant level there will be sellers...

EPF, Tabung Haji are selling Evergreen. I guess is because of the market retracement. It is normal for investor to lock in profit but the fundamental is still looks good.

The purpose of investing is to have profit instead of falling in love with a company

How about Kencana? I notice the big fund like KWAP, HwangDBS and Pheim Capital are actively buying the this stock on 9th April.

Appreciate your comments on this.
